Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tripetite collects and uses information when you join the waitlist, submit a venue, contact us or visit the website.

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Who we are

Tripetite is a dish-first food discovery app currently in prelaunch. The website address is tripetite.com.

For privacy questions or data requests, contact hello@tripetite.com.

What information we collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address when you join the waitlist.
  • Your city interest, traveller type, dietary preference and suggestions if you choose to provide them.
  • Restaurant or vendor details such as business name, contact name, email, city, category, social link, known-for dish or item and message.
  • Contact form and community suggestion information, including enquiry type, message, venue or dish details, business name and source links if provided.
  • Basic analytics information such as page views, referral source, campaign source and device/browser information.

How we use your information

We use this information to:

  • Manage the Tripetite waitlist and send launch updates.
  • Understand which cities, food interests and user groups are most relevant before launch.
  • Review restaurant and vendor interest for the Manchester launch.
  • Respond to contact, collaboration, privacy or vendor enquiries.
  • Review suggested venues, dishes and corrections before deciding whether to publish or verify them.
  • Improve the website and understand which prelaunch sources are working.

Marketing emails

If you join the waitlist or submit a venue, you agree to receive Tripetite launch-related emails. You can unsubscribe or ask to be removed at any time by contacting hello@tripetite.com.

Where data is stored

Tripetite stores prelaunch signup and vendor submission data using Supabase. We may also use Google Analytics to understand website performance and visitor behaviour.

Cookies and analytics

Tripetite uses essential site storage where needed for basic website functions, such as remembering your cookie preference. We may also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the website.

Analytics cookies are optional. You can accept or reject analytics cookies using the cookie banner, and you can reopen your choice using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Suggestions and moderation

Suggested venues, dishes and corrections are reviewed before publication. Submitting information does not automatically create a public listing, recommendation, ranking or passport-eligible staple.

Future app features

The current website does not yet operate full app accounts, favourites, check-ins, photos or location-based discovery. Before those features launch publicly, this policy will be expanded to explain the additional data, visibility, moderation, retention and deletion controls.

Image permissions

If you are a restaurant, café, bakery, market vendor or food business, submitting a venue does not automatically give Tripetite permission to use your images. We may contact selected vendors separately to confirm approved imagery, details and permissions before launch.

How long we keep information

We keep prelaunch signup, vendor and enquiry information only for as long as needed to manage the prelaunch, respond to enquiries, build the first version of Tripetite and meet any legal or operational requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information. You can also ask to be removed from the waitlist or vendor interest list. Contact hello@tripetite.com.

Third-party links

The website may link to third-party platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Supabase or Google services. These platforms have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Tripetite develops. The latest version will always be available on this page.
