About Tripetite

Helping travellers discover cities through dishes.

Tripetite is a dish-first food discovery app for travellers, city-breakers and food-curious people who want to know what to eat, where to try it and why it is worth saving.

We are launching first in Manchester, then building city by city.

Why Tripetite exists

Food is one of the best parts of travel, but finding the right things to eat can be harder than it should be.

Google Maps gives you endless pins. Social media gives you scattered saves. Review sites often start with restaurant ratings before answering the question travellers actually care about: what should I eat here?

Tripetite starts with that question.

Find what to eat, know where to try it, and save the food experiences that matter.

That is the idea behind Tripetite.

Food discovery should help you decide, not make the choice harder.

Food discovery should be easier

You arrive in a new city, search for somewhere to eat, save a few random TikToks, check a map, read a few reviews, and still have no idea what is actually worth trying.

Is it local? Is it touristy? Is there a specific dish people go for? Is it good for a short trip? Is there somewhere better nearby?

Tripetite is being built to make those choices easier.

What makes Tripetite different?

Dish-first discovery

Tripetite starts with what is worth eating, then shows you where to try it.

Trusted places

Recommendations are built around useful reasons, not just star ratings, random popularity or noisy map results.

Built for travellers

Tripetite is designed for people planning trips, city breaks, food-led days out and new-city exploring.

City by city

We are starting focused, with Manchester first, so each city can be useful from day one.

Food worth saving

Users will be able to build a list of dishes, places and experiences they want to try.

Local context

We want every recommendation to explain why it matters, not just where it is.

Why Manchester first?

Manchester is the first Tripetite launch city because it has the right mix of food, visitors and local energy.

The city has independent restaurants, food halls, cafés, bakeries, markets, global food communities, students, locals and city-break visitors all close together.

We are starting small on purpose, so the recommendations can be useful, trusted and grounded in real food discovery.

Who Tripetite is for

Tripetite is for people who plan trips around food, save places before they travel, and want to understand what a city is worth eating for.

Travellers and city-breakers

Know what to eat before you arrive.

Food-curious locals

Find dishes, vendors and places you may have missed.

Students and new residents

Build a food list as you get to know a new city.

Restaurants and vendors

Be discovered for the dishes and food experiences you do best.

The long-term goal is to build a food passport for cities.

Helping people discover dishes, save places, check in, and remember the food experiences that made a trip worth taking.

Built carefully, city by city

Tripetite is currently in prelaunch. We are starting with one city, listening to early users and vendors, and building the first version around real food discovery needs.

Tripetite is not trying to become another huge restaurant directory, review platform or social network. It is being built around a simpler idea: find what to eat, know where to try it, and save the food experiences that matter.
